Donna KittI am a Geelong based photographer with experience in all areas of photography. I believe that every picture tells a tale and provokes a thought, with this in mind, I aim to capture a unique and beautiful moment in time.

I am fresh into the photography field bringing new and exciting ideas to capture stylish and creative photographs, whether it be a wedding day, pregnancy, new baby/pet or just updating your family portrait. I love doing them all.

I do not have a studio but I found that I would prefer to shoot outside and on-location. I started mainly photographing babies and toddlers, and found that to be extremely satisfying. Babies and Children are still my favorite subjects. When they are really young, children haven’t developed that guardedness of being in front of a camera that most of us adults seem to have.

I have since gotten the chance to photograph older kids, families, weddings, engagements and many others and what I’ve found is that I just really like to make photographs of people being themselves, having fun but looking their best. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing from my clients that they are in love with their pictures, and I hope that I get to do it again and again. Every day I am thankful that this is my career and that I get to learn and improve and meet new people. It’s exciting and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

For me relaxing means hunting around in the garden or down by a river to capture life in macro, to see an ant up close going about their business or watching dragonflies fly from flower to flower interests me so much which is why I am now offering Fine Art for sale, they are all produced on Metallic paper so you are sure of having a lasting peice of Artwork that is Garanteed not to fade in sunlight. My Art peices are all macro, or panoramas of landscapes and I am sure you will love them as much as I do.

So far in 2010 my creative work has been on display at Carriageworks in Sydney, I was a finalist in the nature section in the ephotozine comp. I have  finished my first solo exhibition at Oxide Contemporary Arts in Geelong, I have donated some of my macro work for the Mindset Art Show as part of  Psychology week.

More of my artwork is on show  at Top of the Town Pizza Restaurant in Geelong.

There is nothing more beautiful than art.
